About the event
For 33 years, Margaret LoBianco ran a Highland Dance Studio. Now in retirement, she has made the switch from producing choreography and sewing kilts to creating fun designs into quilts. She comes from a large artistic family where her mother and Aunties were a wonderful inspiration!
She is passionate about the art of quilting. It brings ‘sew much joy’ to her life. A teacher at heart, she loves to share her designs and techniques with fellow quilters.
She will be bringing the “Pink Lady” to our guild. This flamingo will stop you in your tracks!! The “Pink Lady” depicts the flamingo sipping on a “Pink Lady”. Three dimensional flowers make up her lei and are a beautiful finishing touch to her summer hat. Her body is layered with multi-colored pink “feathers” for a ton of texture. The wall hanging measures 20” L x 16 ½” W.
